You are entirely correct. This is an older image from about 2005 where I was copying muscle structure from a book. I’ll admit to being more concerned with catching all the muscles depicted than the actual shape of the body.
Thank you for your advice. If your interested my nude drawings follow your suggestion much more than this image.

Draw the initial shape first. Then you can go onto the muscle groups. For example, you want to draw a dog. You don’t just start the hair on the dog. You start with the shape, then the what evers, like eyes, nose, ears, ect. So first draw the body with simple forms, like a bean shape. Then you break the bean up into simple body part groups, then you make muscle forms, then the individual muscles. It’s simple, but effective.

Truth be told, I was thinking of white, but I was worried that gob of dripping white might seem a little too metaphorical in a direction I’d rather not go.
That being said… maybe no one will notice?

Witty, This piece of art here is fantastic. Im not interested in being your cheerleader but i will come back to you blog again.
As for the roses cant you get white roses.(im not a botanist) but i think they do exist.
